A foreigner asked me
that what is the most important day
in Japan without regarding holiday?
ある外国人が僕に、
休日関係なしに日本で大切な日は何？
と尋ねた。
without：～なしに
regarding：～に関して、～について。
I answered her
“Just today.Today is 15th August.
Japan lost in the Second World War 70 years ago.”
僕は答えた。
「今日だ。今日は8月15日だ。
日本は70年前第2次世界大戦で負けたんだ。」
lose：負ける
lost は lose の過去形。
the Second World War：第2次世界大戦
She agreed with me.
I think that Japanese should not
forget this fact.
彼女は僕に同意した。
僕は日本人はこの事実を忘れるべきでないと考える。
agree with：～に同意する
agreed は agree の過去形。
forget：忘れる
fact：事実
A lot of people died.
And reconstructed.
たくさんの人々が死んだ。
そして、復興した。
reconstruct：再建する
reconstructed は reconstruct の過去形。

日本と世界の平和に

contribute：貢献する、寄与する。
